So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Romans 12:5

- Gospel - Trusting the King Who Died for Sinners
Jesus asked: Who do you say that I am? The Philippians jailer asked: What must I do to be saved? Is there any more important set of questions. We don’t think so. This class answers those questions, as it explains what OBC believes about God, man, and the good news of Jesus Christ.
- Church - Gathering with God's Family
The church is not the creation of man, but the invention of God. According to Ephesians 3, we display to the world God’s gracious wisdom and gospel power. Striving after that ideal, this class will explore the nature of the church and the way in which God intends his people to do life together.
- Membership - Worshiping and Working in Temple of God
What is church membership? Is it biblical? Is it necessary? There are lots of conflicted opinions on this subject, but we believe the Bible answers all those questions. So whether membership is a well-loved practice or a confusing concept, this class will address misconceptions and the way in which membership is vital for individual growth and church health.
- Leadership - Getting to Know Your Shepherds
Jesus said he would build his church. And Ephesians 4 says the church builds itself. How so? How does God use members of the church to build up the church? And what about leadership in the church? This class tackles the subject of church leadership (sometimes called ‘church polity’). We will address the qualifications and roles of elders and deacons, and how they lead the congregation.
- Mission - Going with the Church to the World
Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations impels the church into the world. Accordingly, every ministry of the church should be shaped by the Great Commission. In this class, we will share our philosophy of ministry, as well as, the current ministry councils where members can serve.
If you are looking for a church home, or want to know more about Christ and his church, this class is for you. Those interested in church membership are required to attend both sessions. In addition to teaching, you will get a chance to meet many of the elders and ask questions that you may have. Lunch will be provided.
To accomodate schedules, you may start with Part 1 or Part 2
