It is our purpose to witness to, teach, pray for, fellowship with, and lead as many as possible to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

The scope of our ministry covers the community in which our church building sits, our communities where we live, co-workers, friends, family and every person we come in contact with during the course of our journey in His service!

Community outreach events throughout the year include our annual Easter egg hunt, our annual spring BBQ Cook-Off, and our annual autumn festival (“Festifall”).  These large outreaches are fun and Gospel-centered.

We also support various missions, both local and global.

Care-Net Crisis Pregnancy Centers

We support Care-Net, our local Pro-Life Crisis Pregnancy Center in Prince William County.  Care Net Pregnancy Resource Centers provides clients with compassionate and accurate information relating to a pregnancy.

Missions

We support Pete and Sharon McMillan, who are church-planters in Madrid, Spain.  You can follow their ministry and keep updated with their prayer needs by following their blog.

Our youth ministry takes a yearly summer mission trips to partner with various local and regional ministry efforts.  We also send out two international missions teams each summer.  One team serves with Pete and Sharon McMillan in Spain and , another team partners with Children of the Nations in the Dominican Republic.  You can watch a slideshow of the recent DR trip here:

OBC Cross Trainers

OBC Cross Trainers is about sharing the Gospel of our salvation as OBC athletes in all shapes, sizes, ages and levels, participating in sporting events locally and around the United States.  OBC Cross Trainers run, bike, jog, swim or play ball with the OBC Saints!  Our Lord God gives us opportunities in living for Him (1 Cor. 12:5).  part of living for Jesus Christ is sharing the good news that eternal life is free to those that believe in His vicarious sacrifice and resurrection (Acts 16:31).  We are to be His witnesses as we go through this life…including participating in athletic events.
