Congratulations! We rejoice with you as you have completed this stage of your education, and we pray that you would step forward in faith. Trust the Lord as you make plans, submitting yourself to His good and perfect will. Remember Proverbs 16:9, “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.”
God has carried you to this point, and when at vantage points like this, it is good to look back to see His faithfulness. And as you look ahead, you should not fear the unknown of the future, nor should you have disdain for the past, but embrace God’s good and sovereign rule over all your days.
As you reach these milestones, be careful not to cultivate sinful pride in personal achievement, but instead embrace humility and glorify the Lord for what He has done. As you receive honors and gifts, remember that we are to continually give ourselves to the Lord as living sacrifices, and we live and breathe to bring honor to Him.
As you move forward to the next stage of life, work, education, or whatever it may be, do not turn to the right or the left, but be stedfast in devotion to Christ. Enjoy and treasure Christ above all things, and seek His glory above your own. May He be your joy, and may God bless you as you follow Him!
